~ About Me ~

Hi, I’m Pippa

I’m an Industrial Psychologist and Career Coach based in Cape Town, South Africa. I’m deeply committed to helping individuals navigate their professional journeys with clarity, purpose, and fulfilment.

My journey into Industrial Psychology began at the University of Cape Town (UCT), where I earned a Bachelor of Business Science. Following graduation, I delved into the realm of online education, immersing myself in various facets of customer service, operations management, academic leadership, and learning design. It was during this time that I recognised the profound impact of one’s career on personal growth and fulfilment.

Driven by a passion for understanding the intricate dynamics between individuals and organisations, I pursued and completed my Masters degree at UCT, ultimately becoming a registered Industrial Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of consulting and coaching clients from diverse industries spanning financial services, insurance, logistics, automotive, education, and retail sectors. My expertise lies in the various facets of Consulting Psychology. However, it’s my profound love for Coaching Psychology that truly fuels my professional journey. I find immense joy in partnering with individuals, helping them unravel the complexities of their emotions, behaviours, character strengths and language to drive positive personal and professional transformation.

Central to my practice is the belief in the transformative power of aligning personal values with professional pursuits. Integrity, compassion, courage, and curiosity serve as the cornerstone of my approach, guiding my every interaction and decision.

Through my private practice, I aspire to empower individuals to embrace their authenticity, unlock their potential, and carve out careers that resonate deeply with their aspirations and values. Whether you’re seeking clarity amidst career transitions, striving for personal growth, or navigating change, I’m here to support and champion your journey every step of the way.

Core values that I believe in

1. Integrity

I choose to do what is right even when it might be uncomfortable. This is at the forefront of my ethical responsibilities as a healthcare professional.

2. Compassion

I believe in treating others and myself with a sense of loving-kindness. For me, practicing compassion is a daily practice of acknowledging and accepting our humanity and taking meaningful collective action when confronted with challenges, discomfort or suffering.

3. Courage

I choose to open myself up to and brave the unknown. I choose to embrace discomfort openly and with gratitude. Embodying courage is also a sense of acceptance for who I am and how I interact with the world around me.

4. Curiosity

I love to learn and ask questions. I believe in the importance of always being on a learning journey. I embrace the vulnerable act of making and uncovering new discoveries, both personally and professionally.
